Locating Satellites
If you are considering the installation of a satellite system and you are located outside the main contour of the satellite footprint, make sure that you get the correct dish size to avoid reception problems. The following resources are at your disposition to determine what size dish you will need based on your location:
If the satellite you want to receive is located on the extreme East or West of the horizon, you should also make sure that you will be able to get a line of sight from your house or building to the satellite. If you do not have line of sight or if it is obstructed by trees or buildings, you will not receive anything!
