Royal Thai Army Radio and Television started broadcasting in 1958. Thai TV5 is a 24 hr service, intended to offer Thai expatriates news and entertainment from home. The signal, along with other Thai and Laotian channels, is in Mpeg-2 DVB-S (standard definition) and requires a free-to-air receiver. |
A 90cm dish is recommended for most locations in Canada, the USA and the Caribbean.
