The Outdoor Device Unit (ODU)

The LNB portion of this device receives the signal from the satellite, amplifies it and sends it to the modem via coaxial cable.

The transmit portion of this device receives the signal from the modem, amplifies it and sends it to the satellite.

The Satellite Router (HN9000S)

Operating as an IP modem, the HN9000 incorporates several advanced features to increase throughput performance and maximize your experience and satisfaction. Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP) mitigates delay and increases overall throughput over satellite channels, while the unique Hughes TurboPage® feature provides HTTP acceleration for lightning-fast browser performance.

User-friendly LEDs indicate the terminal's operational status.

The HN9000S also operates as a local router providing static and dynamic addressing based on the selected service level, DHCP addressing and DNS caching as well as NAT/PAT
