The Motorola DSR505 is Star Choice's latest HDTV receiver. This unit combines a full-featured digital satellite receiver with HDTV decoder to deliver great high-definition programming and an easy-to-use interactive menu.
The DSR505 includes multiple output connectors and formats, including a Digital Video Interface (DVI) and Component Video output for the highest quality output to capable televisons. The DSR505 also provides a full selection of Standard-Definition video and audio outputs to connect with any home theater component.
The DSR505’s enhanced viewer menu system contains an interactive program guide (IPG) that provides extensive program information to help viewers plan for the week or weekend ahead. The easy-to-use viewer menu system is conveniently integrated in the remote control, or use the full-access front panel for quick set-up and installation.

The Satellite Antenna
Star Choice uses an elliptical antenna.
These dishes, will allow for dual Satellite reception, which gives you access to more channels.
If you live in a remote area, you may have to use a 76 cm (30") elliptical antenna. Please see our Anik F1 footprint for details.
