RTPi is available to viewers across North and South America, free of charge, through the Intelsat 805 satellite (C-Band, requires 6ft antenna) and the AMC 4 satellite (Ku-Band, requires 100cm antenna).

If you do not currently have a C-Band antenna, you may catch RTPi with one of our Mpeg-2 Free-to-air Ku-Band system, with 100cm (recommended) or 75cm Winegard antenna. Select on any of the systems below and select the option with 100cm or 75cm antenna:

C-Band reception

If you are already equipped with a C-Band antenna, you will need to upgrade your system with a digital Mpeg-2 DVB satellite receiver. This receiver may be installed next to your current analog receiver, allowing for the reception of analog, as well as digital free-to-air services.

RTPi will always remain a free-to-air channel.

Other useful pointers before you purchase a digital receiver:

• If the C-band LNB on your antenna is more than 5 years old, you may consider upgrading it to a new digital ready LNB or LNBF with a low noise figure. This upgrade will also improve the reception of your analog services.
