Residential & Small Business Solutions

If you live in an area where high-speed ADSL or Cable Internet is not available, High-speed internet via satellite is available from $49.99 per month! The initial equipment purchase & installation costs (from $199) are the only additional costs to the monthly subscription required to get going.

Residential internet via satellite is ideal to browse the web, send and receive emails, download music, shop online, watch multimedia and perform most other activities you are used to doing from home.

You can share your connection through a Wireless router as you would share any regular high speed connection.

Residential service is also suitable to run a small business that does not have specific requirements. Residencial service may not be suitable for specialized applications namely voice over IP, VPN connectivity and other applications required by medium to large organisations or tele-workers with specific requirements. For such situations, please look at our iDirect solutions.

Advanced V-Sat Solutions

Based on your budget and requirements, your V-Sat link can be configured in one of many ways:

  • Dedicated single point of access - SCPC link
  • Dedicated multiple point of access - TDMA network
  • Shared single point of access with CIR* guarantees - TDMA network
  • Shared single point of access with unlimited service

Dual V-Sat Solutions

If 100% uptime is imperative, relying on a single V-Sat system for connectivity can be a risk. Our dual V-Sat solution guarantees connectivity in case of equipment failure, network failure or satellite failure from one of your V-Sat systems.

Optimizing the use of your bandwidth can also be an important factor when opting for a dual V-Sat solution: streaming applications (VoIP, VPN, Intranet access) can be routed over a low latency, high priority V-Sat link while other applications (Web browsing, mail server, database replication) can be routed over a low cost, high throughput V-Sat link.

Purchasing less low latency, high priority bandwidth using a dual V-Sat solution can represent significant savings over even a short period of time, without factoring the advantages of having 24/7 network redundancy.

*: CIR: Commited Information Rate, is a measure of the Quality of Service (QoS) offered over VSat networks.
