Thai TV5 Television Channel

Royal Thai Army Radio and Television was on air for the first time on army’s Day 25 January 1958. The transmission covered 18 provinces in central region.

Royal Thai Army Radio and Television has since been continually developed to serve the public.

Today, Thai TV5 is a 24 hr / day worldwide service. The service is intented to offer Thai expatriates news and entertainment from home. Thai TV5 does not require a monthly subscription fee.

This channel requires a satellite antenna pointed to the Loral Telstar 5 satellite. The satellite receiver must be DVB compliant.
