This great device for any professional installer or hobbyist serves two purposes when you are installating a satellite television system or any system that requires coaxial cable:

• You can check for continuity (i.e. make sure that your cable is not damaged)
• You can easily identify a cable in a cluster of cables where it's impossible to tell one from another.

Operation:

• Attach the main unit to one end of you cable.
• Detach the toner module and connect it to the other end of your cable.
• The main unit will light up if you are on the right cable and if your cable is not damaged!
• You can change the battery when the unit is dead (1 spare battery included)
